Summertime Fragrances
Different seasons call for different scents. Whether it’s floral, sandalwood, or coconut, I always look forward to pairing them with summer outfits to tie in the entire look. Here are my top 5 for summer.
Tom Ford Neroli Portofino
This perfume smells like a luxury Italian vacation, and there’s no other day to describe it. It’s a more sophisticated/mature scent. It’s perfect for summer or vacation because of its beachy citrus scent—a summer staple.
Notes:
- Tunisian Neroli
- Italian Bergamot
- Sicilian Lemon
Louis Vuitton Afternoon Swim
Somehow someway, this literally smells like an afternoon swim. It’s almost nostalgic smelling because it reminds me of my pool growing up and being in there a ton. This is the perfect scent for summer because it smells so fresh and citrusy. It’s the ideal scent to spray on after the shower from being on the beach all day.

- Bergamot
- Mandarin
- Orange
- Ginger
- Ambergris
Off-White “Paperwork” Solution No. 4
Once you smell this, it’s evident that it is a summer pick.
It’s sweet sandalwood vibes. Even though that is considered one of the base notes, it’s the first thing I smell.

- Eucalyptus
- Vetiver
- Sandalwood
Dior Lucky
This scent is very much floral and feminine as they get. It’s a solid and robust scent, not for the weak. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the notes for this one. However, if you like the smell of lilies, you will love this. Paired with a white sundress, this fragrance compliments any summer look.
Bond No. 9 Spring Fling
One of my faves. Yet again, another floral, but it isn’t just a pretty floral scent. It has a bit of sexy in it. Again, I could not find the notes for this, sadly. I love this brand of fragrances. They’re unique scents, and I never recommend anything that isn’t quality. You only need one or two sprits. If you see these fun-looking bottles, you should stop and smell around.
